Breast Center of Lansing opened April 2004 with state of the
art mammography equipment. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology which allows us to provide high quality
mammography.
Our staff is very friendly and highly experienced.
All of our mammography technologists have more than twenty years of experience.
Breast Imaging is Dr. Anderson's specialty. He completed
a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the Medical College of Virginia. He is very accessible and is always happy to review
and discuss a patient's mammogram with her.
The mammography facility is inclusive within the center,
designed for comfort, convenience, and privacy
If a breast biopsy is needed, we have state of the art stereotactic
biopsy and ultrasound equipment. We know that waiting for a biopsy is stressful, therefore, our goal is to perform biopsies
within one week of being scheduled.
In addition to mammograms and biopsies, our facility is
also set up to do breast ultrasounds as well as galactograms.
